The end of October brought one of the most heartwarming moments of the year: graduation ceremonies at the School of Hope. These celebrations are always a highlight for our students, their families, and our staff. This year we also welcomed four student sponsors who traveled all the way to Guatemala to join in the festivities.
Our second-ever kindergarten graduation was full of smiles. It’s amazing to see how much our youngest students have grown in just one year!
A finales de octubre vivimos uno de los momentos más emotivos del año: las ceremonias de graduación en la Escuela de la Esperanza. Estas celebraciones siempre son un momento especial para nuestros alumnos, sus familias y nuestro personal. Este año, además, recibimos a cuatro estudiantes patrocinadores que viajaron hasta Guatemala para unirse a la celebración.
Nuestra segunda graduación de kínder estuvo llena de sonrisas. ¡Es increíble ver cuánto han crecido nuestros alumnos más pequeños en tan solo un año!
Next up were our 6th graders, looking sharp and proud as they marked their transition to middle school. It’s a big step, and we’re so excited for what lies ahead for them.
A continuación, nuestros alumnos de sexto grado lucieron impecables y orgullosos al marcar su paso a la escuela intermedia. Es un gran paso, y estamos muy emocionados por lo que les depara el futuro.
Of course, we couldn’t forget our 9th graders, whose accomplishments we celebrated with immense pride. They’re now ready to take on high school and continue their educational journey. A special congratulations to Jorge Rodriguez, who received the Ana Maria Del Cid Award for his exceptional effort and kindness.
Por supuesto, no podíamos olvidarnos de nuestros alumnos de noveno grado, cuyos logros celebramos con inmenso orgullo. Ahora están listos para comenzar la preparatoria y continuar su trayectoria educativa. Una felicitación especial para Jorge Rodríguez, quien recibió el Premio Ana María del Cid por su excepcional esfuerzo y bondad.
Finally, in early November, we hosted our graduating high schoolers—each one excited for what the future holds.
Finalmente, a principios de noviembre, recibimos a nuestros alumnos de último año de secundaria, todos ellos entusiasmados por lo que les depara el futuro.
Graduation is always a time to reflect on how far our students have come and to celebrate their hard work and resilience. We’re so proud of each and every one of them!
La graduación siempre es un momento para reflexionar sobre lo lejos que han llegado nuestros estudiantes y para celebrar su esfuerzo y perseverancia. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de todos y cada uno de ellos!
