Join us for the Hope in Motion, a virtual marathon that will take you on a 26-mile journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Antigua, Guatemala, and the surrounding towns. This challenge is not just for runners, you can walk, bike, run, or even swim to complete the distance.
Starting at the School of Hope, this race offers more than just a chance to challenge yourself—it's an opportunity to impact the lives of over 600 students. As you exercise, you’ll virtually explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Antigua, soaking in the rich Guatemalan culture and stunning views. Along your journey, you’ll receive digital postcards at key points on the route, featuring images and stories from the race locations, bringing you closer to the lives of our students and the vibrant community around the School of Hope.

Who would you be supporting?
It costs $761/month to run our school healthcare program — but even a small donation makes a big difference 🌟
Our healthcare program is much more than a nurse’s office. It's a lifeline for our students.
Thanks to this program, hundreds of children and teens receive:
Medical attention when they feel unwell
Support accessing life-saving medications and referrals
Regular health screenings — dental, vision, hearing, weight, height, and deworming
Workshops on hygiene, sexual health, and violence prevention
Vaccination campaigns, including protection against Covid-19
Support for families navigating consultations, exams, and prescriptions
This is comprehensive, preventative healthcare—and it’s working. Students feel safe. They stay in school. They thrive.
