Celebrating Children’s Day at Education for The Children Foundation 💙🎉

Children’s Day is a time to reflect on Children’s rights and the importance of their wellbeing. In Guatemala, the day is celebrated on October 1st. At The School of Hope, we honor the effort our students make everyday to overcome life’s challenges. That is why we work hard everyday to continue providing them access to a holistic education, one that nurtures not only their academic growth, but also their emotional development.

Our goal is help them to remember their childhood as a stage filled with love and respect, where access to opportunities is part of everyday life, not something reserved for a few.

The children are the heart of our foundation, and nothing makes us happier than seeing them smile. This year the day was filled with joy, laugher and educational activities. Here is where the magic happened:
