Golf, Connection and Hope ⛳️🤝
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for EFTC’s annual Golf Day! Thanks to your incredible support and generosity, we raised over £8,500! 🎉
Queremos extender un enorme agradecimiento a todos los que nos acompañaron en el Día Anual de Golf de EFTC. ¡Gracias a su increíble apoyo y generosidad, recaudamos más de £8,500! 🎉
Even though the forecast didn’t look too promising, the turned out beautifully and our supporters had a fantastic time. We began with a relaxed coffee morning, an ideal moment for conversation and preparation before the four ball competition. EFTC events are always a chance to meet inspiring people and grow your network while supporting a meaningful cause.
After four hours, the event culminated with the competition prizegiving, raffle, and an auction. Holly, our UK Development and Fundraising Officer, led the auction with great enthusiasm and joy. She captured the attention of all participants, who were eager to win fantastic prizes while supporting our Further Education Program.
The results from this afternoon were fantastic. Here is how it all unfolded!

We also had a key moment with a heartwarming video that told the story of Margarita, who joined the School Of Hope in 2007. She became one of our first school graduates. Her story showcased the power of our Further Education Program. Every graduate of the School of Hope receives the opportunity to continue their studies through fully funded scholarships for high school, university, and vocational training.
Finally, the day came to a close with a delicious barbecue, an ideal way share stories and celebrate this years Golf Day.

Aunque el pronóstico no era muy alentador, el día resultó hermoso y nuestros participantes disfrutaron muchísimo. Comenzamos con una tranquila mañana de café, un momento ideal para conversar y prepararse antes de la competencia de four ball.
Los eventos de EFTC siempre son una oportunidad para conocer personas inspiradoras, ampliar tu red de contactos y apoyar una causa significativa.
Después de cuatro horas, el evento culminó con la entrega de premios, una rifa y una subasta. Holly, nuestra Oficial de Desarrollo y Recaudación de Fondos en el Reino Unido, lideró la subasta con gran entusiasmo y alegría. Capturó la atención de todos los presentes, quienes estaban emocionados por ganar premios increíbles mientras apoyaban nuestro Programa de Educación Superior.
Los resultados de la tarde fueron fantásticos. Así se desarrolló todo:

También tuvimos un momento clave con un video conmovedor que contó la historia de Margarita, quien se unió a la Escuela de la Esperanza en 2007 y se convirtió en una de nuestras primeras graduadas. Su historia mostró el impacto de nuestro Programa de Educación Superior. Cada estudiante que se gradúa de la Escuela de la Esperanza recibe la oportunidad de continuar sus estudios mediante becas completas para la secundaria, la universidad o formación técnica.
Finalmente, el día cerró con una deliciosa barbacoa, el cierre perfecto para compartir historias y celebrar el Día de Golf de este año.
