Lunch in the Long Room: A Look Back at an Incredible Afternoon

In July 2025, we hosted our Lunch in the Long Room at Lord’s Cricket Ground, and looking back, it truly was a wonderful afternoon. The room was filled with friends, supporters, and new faces, all gathered with the same purpose: to help us continue the work we do every day.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of generosity. We’re still incredibly grateful to all our guests and supporters who made the event so special. Their kindness helped us raise just over £24,500. This incredible amount is already making a difference across our key support areas — Healthcare, Psychology, Special Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Water Filters.

We were also sincerely grateful to the many companies who attended and supported the event. Their involvement and generosity are helping us create real, tangible change where it’s needed most.

We were already looking forward to welcoming everyone again at our next event at Lord’s Cricket Ground in 2026. Supporters can already express their interest in attending this September, and we’re delighted to see the enthusiasm building.
